Europlan Trust

A successful, independent and privately owned and managed business, with in excess of 35 years’ experience, Europlan didn’t feel its website reflected either the company’s values or its aspirations. So, they asked us if we could help refresh and update their brand and, of course, improve their online offering www.europlantrust.com

Our brief was to develop a new look website, with manageable content, which could be used both as a sales and marketing tool and as an information resource. Key messages the company wished to convey were the range and scope of its existing services, its international perspective, its status as a Jersey company of long standing and its professional but personal approach – which means that however big or small the client, they’re provided with the same high quality and professional service.

Having reviewed the existing brand, we decided to expand it with a range of different graphic icons to represent each service area – Private Clients, Accounting, Legal, etc. – and give them their own identity.

We also designed a 40-year timeline animation for the home page to emphasise how long the company had been operating from Jersey and to emphasise the political, fiscal and legislative changes it had seen during its history and how these had fitted in with world events.

On the technical side, we introduced a facility for uploading briefing notes and adding news and information to the site and, just as importantly, trained the staff to be able to manage the content management system. We also created formatted word templates specific to each service area, as these could then be turned into pdfs.
