The most recent statistics show that video content isn’t just effective – it’s now considered the type of content with the best ROI.
In fact the demand for it is growing at an impressively rapid pace. Did you know, for example, that 53% of people want to see more video content from marketers?
Working with Islands, the Channel Islands biggest insurance provider and their new Marketing Manager, Gary Kelly a big advocate of video content, particularly when used in social media, we’ve produced a set of video ads for Facebook and Instagram and we’re already seeing an increase in site traffic.
Of course it helps if you have top quality video content that has been professionally made, or re-purposed, in this case from a set of ITV ads that we had filmed last year. We then edited them down specifically for Social Media, by cropping to a 1080 x 1080 pixel ratio, reducing to 15 seconds and adding in additional product feature graphics.
Video ads provide increased scope for creativity, allowing brand awareness and engagement with consumers to be driven through sight, sound, and motion. There’s something about video that just works.
