SEYMOUR HOTELS HOLIDAY CAMPAIGN 2015

The Task

Coming up with a new campaign for Seymour’s to rival that of last year’s successful ‘Win a Cow’ competition needed some strategic organisation. It was decided that Spring term is certainly one of the best periods for hoteliers to start advertising ahead of the coming summer months, and Seymour Hotels have been doing just that with an unmissable competition for past guests and new customers.

 

The Campaign

Titled ‘WIN a Jersey Holiday Adventure’ the 2016 competition is a chance to win an adventure themed holiday from a choice of 6 different adventure themes. The adventures include a seven night holiday for a family of four to Jersey staying at the Merton Hotel, including fast ferry return transport. Activities on offer include exploring Jersey’s unique history- visiting the various castles and museums, exploring the island by kayak- having a go at Stand Up Paddleboarding and surfing, taking an adventure on the Jersey Seafaris RIB seeing the sights of Jersey’s incredible North Coast, a bike hire for all the family to see the amazing Jersey views and dinner at places like The Watersplash and the Pomme d’Or Hotel. A great concept to explore and enjoy the best of what the island has to offer.

 

The campaign was sent via email to the Seymour Hotels database, which directed subscribers to the main website page where the entrants simply had to answer a multiple choice question to be in with a chance of winning. The competition was also featured in the Merton Hotel mailout sent to previous guests.

 

The Result

Still early days, but the entries are certainly starting to mount up and with over 20,000 so far we are well on target to surpass last years’ amazing entry total of 26,000. Looks like another great idea from TIW has hit the spot!
