Crafting a Dynamic Digital Future: Behind the New Parslows LLP Website
The Project
Every so often, a project comes along that reminds us why we love what we do — the sort that blends craft, collaboration, and the quiet satisfaction of building something that will stand the test of time. The redesign and redevelopment of the new Parslows LLP website was precisely that: a chance to reimagine a respected Jersey law firm’s digital presence from the ground up, and to do so with the full creative force of The Idea Works team.
Parslows has long been known for its professionalism, approachability, and unwavering commitment to its clients. Our task was to translate those qualities into a modern digital experience that felt every bit as confident and dependable as the firm itself. The result is a website that isn’t just beautiful — it’s dynamic, intuitive, and built for a fast-moving digital landscape.
Design & Photography
Led by Creative Director Martyn Aubert and ably assisted by senior creative Bryden Devine, the project’s creative direction married contemporary clarity with a nod to Parslows’ heritage. Martyn crafted a visual language that balances precision with warmth — generous white space, confident typography, and a refined colour palette that feels distinctly Parslows.
As Martyn puts it:
“We wanted the site to feel naturally authoritative, but never cold. The design needed to offer clarity at a glance and instil trust from the first scroll. It’s restrained where it needs to be, expressive where it matters, and always built with the user in mind.”
Photography and video were vital parts of the story. Working with the ever-talented Glen Perotte, Martyn coordinated new imagery that captures the firm’s people, poise, and personality. From partner portraits to atmospheric office shots, the photography became the human heartbeat of the new design.
Built to Evolve
Behind the scenes, Senior Web Developer Ben Griffiths led the build. The site was developed entirely in-house within a secure, scalable WordPress infrastructure, using our advanced block-based system to ensure every element remains easily updatable and endlessly adaptable.
As Ben explains:
“The structure is dynamic from top to bottom. Every layout, every component, every form is modular — giving Parslows the freedom to grow, update, and refine without technical barriers. We focused on speed, security, and long-term sustainability. It’s built for now, and built for what comes next.”
Intelligent Integration
A great website needs more than beautiful design and clean code — it requires strategy, data, and intelligent optimisation. That work was led by Martin Jeffrey, The Idea Works’ Head of Digital Strategy & Marketing.
From pre-launch SEO audits to advanced HubSpot integration, from metadata to cross-platform tracking alignment, Martin ensured that the new site performs as well as it looks.
“We’ve created a platform that offers total visibility,” Martin says. “Parslows can now track journeys, nurture leads, and measure performance with real clarity. It’s a digital foundation built to support both marketing and long-term business development.”
